Glenn ("the App") is a personal finance application designed to help users track spending, manage income and expenses, monitor goals, and review financial activity in one place. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

1. Information We Collect

Account data: When you create an account or sign in, we may collect:

• Email address
• Display name
• Authentication identifiers provided by our authentication providers

Financial data you provide: To provide Glenn's core budgeting and cash flow features, we may store:

• Manual transactions and categories you create
• Budget, income, and goal information you enter

Subscription data: If you purchase or restore Glenn Pro, we may process subscription status, entitlements, and purchase-related identifiers through RevenueCat and the app store platform.

Notification data: If you enable push notifications, we may store a push token and your notification preferences in order to send alerts and summaries.

Device and usage data: Our service providers may receive technical information such as device identifiers, app version, IP address, and diagnostic or usage metadata needed to operate the App securely and reliably.

We do not collect your contacts, photos, microphone recordings, or precise location through Glenn.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Authentication: To create and secure your account and allow you to sign in.
• Core app functionality: To let you manage transactions, budgets, categories, goals, and financial summaries.
• Notifications: To send optional push notifications such as goal milestones, low-balance alerts, overspending alerts, weekly summaries, and test notifications.
• Subscriptions: To manage Glenn Pro purchases, entitlements, and access to paid features.
• Security and support: To maintain the security of the App, troubleshoot issues, and improve reliability.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

3. Data Storage and Security

Your account and app data are stored using Supabase and related cloud infrastructure. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (such as TLS/SSL). Glenn also uses platform-secure storage where appropriate for local app credentials and settings. Access to data is limited to what is necessary to operate the App and its services.

Glenn does not connect to bank accounts or retrieve banking data from financial institutions. Financial information in the App is based on the transactions, budgets, income, goals, and related details you enter manually.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

Your data is retained for as long as your account remains active or as needed to provide the App's services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.

You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data by contacting us at patricioscida@gmail.com. We will process deletion requests within a reasonable period, generally within 30 days unless a longer retention period is required by law or operational necessity.

5. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services that may collect or process data on our behalf or under their own privacy terms:

• Supabase — used for authentication, database storage, and backend functions. See Supabase's Privacy Policy.
• Google Sign-In — used for optional authentication. See Google's Privacy Policy.
• RevenueCat — used to manage subscription status and in-app purchase entitlements. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.
• Expo / Expo Notifications — used to support app infrastructure and push notification delivery. See Expo's Privacy Policy.
• Google Play — used to process Android app distribution and, where applicable, subscription or in-app purchase transactions. See Google's Privacy Policy.

6. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal data through the App, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any updates will be reflected by revising the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App after changes become effective means you accept the updated Privacy Policy.
