Echo AI Privacy Policy

1. What Echo AI does
Echo AI is a voice journaling and life analytics app. You can record short voice entries, and the app may process those entries to create transcripts, summaries, scores, patterns, and insights.
2. Information we collect
- Account information, such as your name, email address, Google account identity, or anonymous guest account identifier.
- Voice recordings you choose to create in the app.
- Generated content, including transcripts, summaries, entry analysis, patterns, scores, and insights.
- Basic app settings, such as language preference and timezone.
- Technical information needed to operate the app, such as authentication session data and error diagnostics.
3. How we use information
- To provide the core journaling, recording, transcription, summarization, and insight features.
- To save your account, profile, language preference, and entries.
- To improve reliability, security, and abuse prevention.
- To help you recover access when you link a guest account to email or Google.
4. Voice recordings and AI processing
Your voice entries may be uploaded to secure cloud storage and processed by AI services to generate app features. Generated outputs may include text summaries, emotional or topical analysis, and recurring pattern reads. Do not record information you do not want processed by the app.
5. Account types
You may use Echo AI as a guest through anonymous authentication. Guest data is tied to the anonymous account on the device. If you delete the app, clear local storage, or reset the guest session before linking the account, you may lose access to that guest account. Linking Google or email helps preserve access to the same account.
Anonymous guest accounts can be deleted from inside the app while the active guest session is available. The web deletion page requires a linked Google or email account because an anonymous session cannot be recovered or reliably identified after its session is lost.
6. Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with service providers that help operate Echo AI, including hosting, authentication, storage, transcription, AI processing, analytics, security, or support providers. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the app, users, or others.
7. Data retention
We keep account data, recordings, generated outputs, and related records while your account is active or as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. You can request account deletion from the Delete Account page.
8. Security
Echo AI uses authentication, access controls, row-level security rules, and private storage controls to protect user data. No system is perfectly secure, so you should use caution when recording sensitive information.
9. Children
Echo AI is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and remove it where appropriate.
10. Your choices
- You can choose not to create recordings.
- You can sign out or reset a guest session from the app.
- You can request permanent account deletion from the Delete Account page.

11. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. If changes are material, we will update the effective date and may provide additional notice in the app or on this page.
