Echo AI Terms of Use
These terms govern your use of Echo AI. If you do not agree, do not use the app. Questions: patricioscida@gmail.com.
1. The service
Echo AI provides voice journaling, summaries, analysis, scores, and insights based on recordings you choose to create. Features may change, be limited, or be discontinued at any time.
2. Not medical, legal, or financial advice
Echo AI is for personal reflection and informational use only. It is not a medical device, therapy service, crisis service, legal adviser, or financial adviser. Do not rely on Echo AI for diagnosis, treatment, emergency support, or professional advice. If you are in danger or experiencing a crisis, contact local emergency services or a qualified professional.
3. Your account
You are responsible for activity under your account. Guest accounts are tied to anonymous authentication and may become unrecoverable if you lose the local session before linking email or Google. Keep your login credentials secure.
4. Your content
You keep ownership of recordings and text you provide. You grant Echo AI the rights needed to host, process, analyze, display, and otherwise operate the app for you. You are responsible for the content you record or submit.
5. Acceptable use
- Do not use Echo AI to violate laws or others' rights.
- Do not upload content you do not have the right to process.
- Do not attempt to bypass security, rate limits, account boundaries, or payment limits.
- Do not reverse engineer, overload, scrape, or interfere with the service.
6. AI-generated output
Echo AI uses automated systems that may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unexpected. You should review outputs before relying on them. Insights are reflective prompts, not factual guarantees or professional conclusions.
7. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, and protected.
8. Account deletion
You may request permanent deletion of your account and associated app data from the Delete Account page.
Echo AI may also be used as an anonymous guest. Anonymous guest sessions do not have a recoverable email or social identity. If you link the guest account to Google or another supported sign-in method, you can use the Delete Account page after signing in. If you continue using Echo AI anonymously and lose the active guest session by deleting the app, clearing app data, or signing out, we may be unable to identify that specific guest account from the web deletion page. Where available, use the account deletion controls inside the app while the anonymous session is still active.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms, misuse the service, create risk, or if required by law.
10. Disclaimers
Echo AI is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, accuracy, and reliability.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Echo AI and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits, goodwill, or opportunities.
12. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Echo AI after updates means you accept the updated terms.
